This is N-Depth comin’ to you from San Francisco. I am a up and coming hip-hop/rap artist. I've been in love with Hip-Hop ever since i was younger. There's something about it that makes me feel alive. In 2005, I was going through some problems in life and a break-up that left me heart broken. Hip-Hop saved me as I decided to put my life and struggles through music. My goal is to reach people through my music and hope it impacts their life on some level. I rap about real things that I am going through and other issues that have and still do impact my life. I am always open to performing and collaborating with new artists. Now let’s get to the music!!

On New Year’s Eve 2016, Scottie woke up from a dream that Hip Hop legend DJ Premier told him that it was time to start releasing his own music. Up to that point, he’d been helping other artists put out their projects on his label Richland Records. However, since that vivid dream, Scottie hasn’t looked back: having released three full-length studio albums and several singles under the artist name SCS.

In 2021, he changed his artist name to Scottie Banks added beatmaking to his artistic arsenal and now makes the vast majority of his tracks from the ground up: creating the instrumentals, writing the lyrics and laying down vocals.

Scottie is passionate about making music that inspires. As someone who fell in love with Hip Hop at a young age upon hearing Sugar Hill Gang’s “Rapper’s Delight” and A Tribe Called Quest’s Low End Theory, making music that uplifts others enables him to pay his love for Hip Hop forward — all while sharing his positivity in the process.
